‘The first goal of the Wehrmacht High Command of the Army, in accordance with the set target, is to break the front of the main forces of the Russian army concentrated in the western part of Russia with the help of rapid and deep strikes by powerful mobile units to the north and south of the Pripyat Marshes in order to separate and destroy enemy units.’
